Get Rhythm When you Get the Blues...

So I thought it was time for an update...

Summer is going slowly, I also keep omitting the month of July for some reason...whatever.

I have officially scheduled classes and have financial aid all ready to go, so yippee!!! I am super excited to start school even though it doesn't start until September. I will also hopefully get an apartment in the next month or so and a new job.

This weekend is going to be exciting. Jim and Linda are in Ohio with the boys for the Pow Wow at Sun Watch. SO Excited, and then cooking out at Tommy's is gonna be AWESOME!!!

I also finalized my reading list

1. Picture Perfect-done
2. Memory Keeper's daughter-done
3. My Sister's Keeper-working on
4. 19 minutes
5. New Moon
6. Eat Pray Love
7. Curious Case of Benjamin Button
8. Friday Night Knitting Club
9. Something Borrowed
10. Wednesday's Letters
and Extra Credit: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Dopey also turned 1 on the 19th, he is getting fat without Jack chasing him around. He also does not get ow to play with toys still, but flies provide hours of entertainment.

I miss people so much and I might need to make a Chicago trip in July...

143!!!

Excercising the Brain

So in my pursuit of excercising my brain this summer (as a result of getting dumber after graduation) so I have set a goal of reading 10 books...here is my list so far

1. Picture Perfect
2. The Memory Keeper's Daughter
3. 19 Minutes
4. My Sister's Keeper
5.Curous Case of Benjamin Button
6.New Moon
7.Eat Pray Love
8. Friday Night Knitting Club

I need 2 more suggestions...comments welcome

In addition to reading I have also been attempting to do the puzzles in the newspaper at least once or twice a week...here are my conclusions

1. I rock at Jumbles, enough said
2. The crossword puzzle is always just a little smarter than me, but LA Times uses the same puzzle on the same day and the answers are posted online, soooo, I outsmarted the crossword...ha
3. Sudoku, no matter what level, requires a special kind of geniusness to solve, of which I do not possess. So Sudoku, you win.

I need another part time job, suggestions also welcome on that note...
